Travel to Bwindi, trek to a habituated gorilla family with a ranger guide, and return with time to rest. A good fit for travellers short on time. Drive from Kampala or Entebbe via Mbarara and Kabale (about 8 to 9 hours) with rest stops, arriving at your lodge near Bwindi in the evening.
After a ranger briefing, trek into the forest to spend time with a gorilla family. Return to the lodge to rest.
Drive back to Kampala, Entebbe or Kasese with lunch en route.
