We’re committed to offering more than just products we provide exceptional experiences.
Uganda can be visited year-round, but the best conditions for gorilla trekking are during the two dry seasons: June to September and December to February. Trails are drier and gorillas are often easier to locate. That said, permits sell out many months ahead during peak season book early.
As of 2025, gorilla permits in Uganda cost $800 USD per person for foreign visitors the most affordable in East Africa. Rwanda charges $1,500. Permits must be booked in advance through the Uganda Wildlife Authority, which we handle on your behalf.
Most nationalities require a visa to enter Uganda. East African citizens (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, etc.) do not. A tourist visa can be applied for online at visas.immigration.go.ug or on arrival at Entebbe International Airport. We provide full visa guidance to all our guests.
Absolutely and Uganda is one of the only places on earth where you can. A combined gorilla trekking (Bwindi) and chimpanzee tracking (Kibale Forest) itinerary is one of our most popular packages, typically 7–10 days. We call it the Primates of Uganda Safari.
Yes. Uganda is one of East Africa's most stable and welcoming countries. The national parks are well-managed, roads have improved significantly, and crime against tourists is very rare. Our guides and drivers are experienced, licensed, and in daily contact with our Kampala office throughout your safari.
