A five-day trek on the Rwenzori central circuit from Nyakalengija trailhead toward the high moorland zone (around 3,500 to 4,000 metres), with Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, porters and nights in mountain huts. Indicative prices include guiding, transport and lodging as listed; gorilla, chimp and other activity permits are quoted separately. Contact us to confirm your final quote.
Briefing in Nyakalengija and start trekking through montane forest toward Nyabitaba Hut.
Climb through bamboo and heather zones toward John Matte Hut (roughly 6 to 8 hours on trail).
Continue into the Afro-alpine moorland with views toward the peaks, overnight at Bujuku or similar hut depending on pace.
Head back down toward the trailhead.
Final descent and transfer to Kasese.
